Seasonal
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our Seasonal Cancellation Policy is in place to ensure that we can manage our resources effectively. Seasonal campers receive a discounted seasonal rate as they are agreeing to pay for a term from Victoria Day weekend (May) to 31 Oct.. 1. Refund Eligibility: Seasonal campers are eligible for a refund if the cost of their daily rate (either Regular, Ordinary, or Associate) does not exceed the total cost of their seasonal stay. 2. Fall Registration and Spring Withdrawals: If seasonal campers register in the fall and decide to withdraw in the spring, a winter storage fee and administration fees will be applied. Should the camping season already have begun, power fees may apply as well. 3. Non-refundable Fees: It's crucial to understand that power, parking, and launch fees are non-refundable and cannot be waived under any circumstances. 4. Exceptions: There are a few exceptional circumstances in which the cancellation fee may not apply, but such cases would require high-level CFMWS approval for refund authorization. Here's an example of the cancellation fee structure A regular (CF) member wishes to vacate their site 30 days into the season after registering in the Fall site selection. Because they have had their site selected and reserved from 1 Nov onwards, they will be charged the winter storage fee ($150.00). We then see if their seasonal fees have exceeded what the daily drop-in rate (either regular, ordinary, or associate) for the 30 days would be. In this situation, the member would be charged either $30.00 per day (which amounts to $900.00) or the seasonal rate ($1800.00). Because the daily fee is less, the individual would be charged the daily fee rate plus the winter storage fee plus power fees. Please note: power, parking, and launch fees are non-refundable. In the current example, the individual had only paid for power ($75.00). Therefore, the total cancellation fee will be $150.00 + $900.00 + $75.00, equaling $1125.00. This amount does not include HST, which brings the grand total to $1293.75. Since the total seasonal fee is $1800.00+HST. In this example, paying the daily fee provides the lowest fee charged to the individual. If this same individual had requested a refund after 75 days (75X$30.00 = $2250), the individual would not receive any refund, and the seasonal fee would apply. There are a few exceptional circumstances where the cancellation fee would not apply; however, it would require high-level CFMWS approval for refund authorization.
