Are you open to the general public?Great news! We are open and ready to welcome you for camping, lodge rentals, and cabin stays. Our facilities are available to the general public. We offer limited seasonal stays of up to 28 days, which can be renewed, pending approvals, for the entire camping season

Do you offer three-way service sites?Unfortunately, we only provide 30 amp service and non-potable water at each campsite. However, we offer a septic pumping service for a fee, so you don’t have to move your camper or use a blue-boy to transport your septic waste to the disposal area. We also offer discounts on this service for CAF and Veteran Campers and their families.

Do you host weddings?Yes! With a spacious lodge, 100 campsites, and 11 cabins, we can accommodate weddings of various sizes. Our lodge rentals include tables and chairs, access to a catering staging area, and accessible washrooms. We offer special packages for weddings and large family gatherings. Contact us to learn more!

Is Lake Pleasant Campground owned by Military?Lake Pleasant Campground (LPC) is a Department of National Defence (DND) facility owned by 14 Wing Greenwood operated by Canadian Armed Forces Greenwood Personnel Support Programs (PSP). LPC serves Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) regular, reserve and retired members, DND/NPF/RCMP personnel and their families.

I have just been posted in and missed the seasonal site selection, can I still be a seasonal?Yes! If you are military and posted in the area (or simply want a seasonal campsite), we will always find a spot for you! Seasonal sites are available on two-year terms, with the option to extend for an additional two years (first right of refusal). The maximum stay is four years and requires Camp Manager approval.

I'm going to be late checking in, what do I do!?No worries! Life can change our plans! If you know you will be late checking in, please send our staff an email at info@lakepleasantcampground.com or call us at 902 547 2882 or 902 465 6494.

CAF/Veterans and families get a 20% discount, how do I apply that discount?When booking your site or stay, you’ll find a dropdown menu on the payment page with available discount rates. Please select the appropriate rate. Note that proof of identification will be required at check-in to confirm your discount. If you cannot provide ID to substantiate your discount, staff will remove the discount from your order.

I am hoping to change a camp policy, how do I do this?Our camp policies are developed through careful evaluation of regulations and rules to ensure the protection of our customers and wilderness areas. If you feel that any of our policies are negatively impacting you and your family, please reach out to our Camp Manager at info@lakepleasantcampground.com. All concerns are communicated to upper management for review. We value your feedback on our policies and continuously evolve based on new information and perspectives!

Can I stay on my seasonal site indefinitely?No, we require our seasonal campers to be flexible with their assigned sites. Each site is provided on a two-year term, with the option to extend for an additional two years. If safety concerns arise that affect your ability to stay at your site, the camp manager will reassign you to a comparable site for the remainder of your stay. Our waterfront seasonal sites are only available on a year to year basis.
